Congratulations
Well, I would like to congratulate you, my readers. You've put me into a bind, and on the very first day no doubt. We've hit 6 followers, not counting myself, so now I must write a minimum of 1,767 words each and every day. I was just hoping I'd be far enough into today's post to go make dinner, but alas, now I feel pressure building! If anyone was wondering I've been dying to try a stuffed zucchini recipe I've found, so that's what I'll be cooking in between sentences. As for a preview of what's coming later tonight, expect a well mannered, go-getter female introducing you to the scene of the first chapter, with a quick dash of ethics thrown in to keep things interesting as some very contemporary issues come into the forefront. It'll be up soon, and maybe even a photo of the stuffed zucchini!

So it Begins
Starting July 1st I will write an average of 1,667 words a day, for a total of 50,000 words. A total that will hopefully amount to what some people call a novel. I will be posting my day's work here, with the hope that having people I need to be accountable to keeping me on track. Granted, here and there I may not post anything, simply being human. However, I hope some days I will blow my goal of 1,667 out of the water to allow me those days of reprieve. I will also refrain from editing any of these works during the 30 days. The sole goal is to get to 50,000 in 30 days. There are bound to be typos, dangling modifiers, and all kinds of grammatical horror stories to ensue in the days to come. Fear not, I will correct these with time. You get the joy of seeing just what mistakes I'll make along the way.
So stay tuned for my first post on July 1st. I promise, I won't start writing until then. I'm moving in the meantime, so I won't have time to do so anyway. After each day's post feel free to comment on what you see. Comment if you like the direction the story is going, and what you'd like to see happen next. As long as the input is reasonable I'll be sure to take it into account. This way YOU can impact a story as it's being written! It'll be sure to be a great success or a great failure, but join in and we'll see what happens.
